I have your book NINE WOMEN REVEALED in my hands, and the
first thing I have to say: it's worth every penny. The book is like a
sociological study with a great sense of psychological reflections.
The self-written chapters give an intimate look into the lives and
behaviorial reasons of the people among us. The women making
up the nine great writers range from jewelry designer to college
student. Character-wise, we can see our own next-door neighbors.
The writing is quite personal and revealing, kind of confession-like
while not being "penthouse letters" style (although there is no taboo
in the talks by these women). It's open talk about dreams and
success, it's about the twists and turns of everyday lives - even about
masturbation and sexual positions.
The nine women are all honest, straightforward and proudly display
their lives and different personalities - all coming from totally different
backgrounds and upbringings. The photography and the writings are
at times voyeuristic, but in a very positive way because they balance
each other out well and raise this book to its rightful place - to Fine
Art.
I highly recommend the book: NINE WOMAN REVEALED to
everybody, both women and men because we can learn a lot about
others and therefore we can see and understand ourselves better.
